Destinations Nature 2024 fair in Paris

Mallorca will be present at Destinations Nature, which will be held from 14 to 17 March at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris. The island will have its stand, located in Hall4 C095, to promote its many natural charms, as well as a wide range of nature tourism products for the French-speaking market. Through its new tourism strategy and the Responsible Tourism Pledge, the development of active tourism on the island is booming, with a special emphasis on the preservation and respectful enjoyment of the natural wonders of its territory.
Among its main natural attractions are the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, caves such as the Caves of Drach, its many coves bathed by the Mediterranean or wonderful charming villages such as Santanyí, Pollença or Alcúdia.

Mallorca is the ideal setting for sports such as cycling, with more than two thousand kilometres of paths and roads, hiking, equestrian tourism and golf.
Furthermore, respect for nature makes Mallorca a place that is committed to its local products, which is conducive to high-quality gastronomy with products such as ensaimada, sobrassada, herb liqueur and olive oil.
Representatives from the island will be attending this unmissable event for the sector, presenting the latest developments in the island’s tourism offer to the French market. Through its stand, Mallorca will establish essential conversations with the main players in the market, in a space it will share with areas such as the town councils of Pollença, Santanyí, Alcúdia, Felanitx and Manacor, and various hotel associations on the island, such as Garden Hotels, Blau Hotels, Hotels Viva, Asociación Hotelera y de S. Cales de Capdepera, Asociación Hotelera de Sóller and Serrano Hotels.

At the same time, Mallorca has been taking part over the last few days in the Direct Conferences to support the marketing of Spanish tourism that Turespaña has organised in Asia, specifically in Korea and Japan, between the 10th and 15th of March.

Throughout the week, a full agenda of meetings and gatherings has been held, with the presence of 150 Korean and Japanese interlocutors.
The island has been presented to the Asian market as a purely Mediterranean destination, with a wide and complete offer, as well as a rich catalogue of services.
Among other aspects, the island’s cultural and historical heritage has been highlighted, as well as its landscapes and natural surroundings, its gastronomic offer, the interest and diversity of its villages and the charms of the city of Palma.
