The subsidy per activity has been increased from 1,500 euros last year to 2,500 euros this year.

The Department of Education and Universities of the Balearic Islands has announced a call for applications for grants aimed at boosting university life through strategic policy actions. The amount of the subsidy per activity has been increased by 1,000 euros, from 1,500 euros last year to 2,500 euros this year.

Grants to boost university life on the Balearic Islands

These grants are aimed at beneficiaries who can be both natural and legal persons, public or private, as well as groups and communities of property, provided that the entities are not for profit, commercial or mercantile or similar entities, to promote a wide and diverse participation in the improvement of university life in the region.

Eligible activities may take place from 1 January to 15 October 2024 and are compatible with other grants or subsidies of the same nature. Applications for these grants may only be made electronically, through the online application process available at the Electronic Headquarters of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands.

The application period started on 25 March 2024 and ended on 31 May 2024. Thereafter, 10 working days will be available to correct any deficiencies in the application.
