A total of 21 young people aged between 12 and 15 from various municipalities in Menorca enjoyed a few days full of activities and emotions, completely free of charge. The stay at the Sa Vinyeta hostel began on Tuesday 2 April and ended on Thursday 4 April.

The camps offered the youngsters the opportunity to enjoy recreational and cultural activities as diverse as a visit to the Cova de s’Aigua, a gymkhana in the historic centre of Ciutadella, an archery workshop, a trip to the beach or a “holi” party.

The Alternanits programme includes a wide range of healthy leisure activities and is aimed at young people between the ages of 14 and 30. This is the 15th successful edition of the programme, with a growing number of participants.

Once the camps have finished, an evaluation has been carried out with the young people and the team of monitors and the assessment has been very positive on both sides, agreeing on the need to maintain this type of leisure activities over time.

The Alternanits programme is financed by the Consell Insular de Menorca (CIMe), organised by INJOVE and has the collaboration of all the town councils of Menorca.
