The programme of the Spring in the Garden 2024
As every year, when spring arrives, the Casa Llorenç Villalonga – Museu Literari opens the doors of its garden, a unique space in the middle of Binissalem with vegetation that bursts into a thousand colours during the spring months.
This year, as a novelty, it will also be possible to access the ‘Maria-Antònia Oliver’s chamber’, a new space inaugurated last March where you can discover the Manacor-born author through her bookshop and some of her objects.
The Spring in the Garden cycle brings the public together every Saturday in May to offer family activities, presentations of new literary novels in narrative, poetry and essays, and performances linked to words and music. At all the activities there will be a stall run by the Espiral bookshop in Binissalem, where you can buy new literary works by the guest authors.

On the one hand, the Correllengua, which will take place on Saturday the 4th of May in the church square, where the family activity ‘Boiets i juguetons’ will be held. On the other hand, the last two weekends in May Binissalem will host the ‘Winedays’ and, during the Spring in the Garden activities, Binissalem D.O. wines will be on offer. In addition, on the weekend of the 25th of May, the Stone Fair will be held in the village, from where visitors will be invited to take a look at the Casa Llorenç Villalonga, which is open to the village in the hope of another year’s broad and generous participation.
