Requests can be made until 31 May via a form that has been sent to the centres or via the CFINFP-IB website.

During this academic year, nearly one hundred training courses have been organised, almost 10% more than in the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Centre for Training, Innovation and Development of Vocational Training of the Balearic Islands (CFINFP-IB) has already opened the deadline for public centres that provide vocational training to submit their training requests, both in the technical and methodological fields, for the first quarter of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The CFINFP-IB opens the deadline for public centres offering VET

In this regard, it should be noted that, as a novelty, it is now possible to make requests for training in the field of VET methodology, which resolves a historical demand from vocational training teachers. These training requests can be made until 31 May via a form that has been sent to the centres or via the CFINFP-IB website.

During the 2023-2024 academic year, the CFINFP-IB has organised around one hundred training courses and, compared to the 2022-2023 academic year, this represents an increase of almost 10%.

This academic year, for the first time and as a pilot plan, visits have been organised with technical teachers to specific trade fairs of interest to teachers. Thus, teachers from the IT and Communications professional family will be able to attend the IOT Solutions World Congress, a leading international event on digital transformation and cutting-edge technology that will take place in Barcelona from 21 to 23 May, while teachers from the Commerce and Marketing professional family will be able to attend the SIL 2024 trade fair from 5 to 7 June, a leading international trade fair on logistics, transport, intralogistics and supply chain that will also be held in Barcelona.

Training on the new Vocational Training Law

On the other hand, the training course “Digitalisation applied to the productive sectors” begins today in Menorca. This activity is organised within the framework of the new training courses being developed to prepare for the implementation of the new Vocational Training Law in the Balearic Islands. In total, fifteen training sessions will be held. Thus, in Mallorca, Menorca and Eivissa, there will be a training course for each new module foreseen in the Law, as well as a training course on attention to diversity and an introduction to Organic Law 3/2022 on the Organisation and Integration of Vocational Training. All these trainings will take place from today until 18 June.

These trainings are funded by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport and co-financed by the European Social Fund in the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 (ESF Plus).
