The MAEF presents four days of activities

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the declaration of Ibiza as a World Heritage Site, a mixed candidacy that also includes the Puig des Molins site, MAEF technicians will offer a guided tour of the necropolis.

Thursday the 16th of May at noon. Guided tour of the temporary exhibition “FOR OUR LADY TINNIT, THE MIGHTY. The Es Culleram plaque, one hundred years later”.
This May marks the end of the current temporary exhibition at the MAEF dedicated to the cave sanctuary of Es Culleram, so this is the last guided tour of the exhibition.

Friday 17 May at noon. Guided tour of the MAEF Conservation and Restoration Laboratory.
In this activity, we will be able to learn first-hand about the projects being carried out in the MAEF Laboratory, such as the preparation of the new temporary exhibition with museography reproductions of archaeological pieces.

Saturday 18 May at 13h. Presentation of the book “Piedra, paper, museum! and children’s games.
The new MAEF publication entitled “Piedra, papel, Museo!!!” is dedicated to the whole family, and especially to children. It is a guide that proposes more than 30 activities to do at home related to archaeology, palaeontology and the history of Ibiza and Formentera. For this reason, the presentation of the book will be accompanied by a set of games linked to the new book, in collaboration with the Association of Friends of the MAEF.
