Helena Rubí, new director general for Coordination and Transparency

She holds a degree in Information Sciences, specialising in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a postgraduate degree in Citizen Communication.

The Consell de Govern has today approved the appointment of the Director General of Coordination and Transparency. Thus, Helena Rubí has been appointed to head the Directorate General for Coordination and Transparency at the Regional Ministry of the Presidency and Public Administrations. She holds a degree in Information Sciences, specialising in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid and a postgraduate degree in Communication with the public from the Blanquerna Faculty of the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. She has specialised in corporate communication at the Instituto de Empresa, the Universidad Menéndez Pelayo and the University of Washington.

As for her work experience, she has been a Publicist and Publicity Coordinator at Palma City Council, at the Government of the Balearic Islands, in communication agencies and also as an independent consultant. Helena Rubí has also held the position of Head of the Communication Secretariat of the Government of the Balearic Islands and has been an associate professor at the centre attached to the University of Comillas CESAG. Since July, she has been technical advisor responsible for the implementation process of the new Corporate Identity Manual of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands.
