The Statistical Institute of the Balearic Islands (IBESTAT) is renewing itself with the publication of its new web portal ibestat.es, where you can find the usual contents and other new services as a result of our commitment to open, accessible, reusable and interoperable data.

The new website offers a specific ‘Open Data’ section where you can consult the different possibilities for reusing data of interest to users of regional statistics, such as the creation of widgets or the Catalogue of open APIs.

Another important novelty is that, for the first time, semantic interoperability is addressed by publishing the Bank of Semantic Assets, which allows the consultation and reuse of standard concepts and classifications.

This new website improves previously available services, such as User Services, which allows access to additional personalised services for each user, and Data by Territory, which filters and quickly visualises the information available at the level of island, municipality or region. Consolidated products are also maintained, such as the PEU – Unified Statistical Portal, which allows access to all the statistics generated by the Government ministries and island councils in addition to IBESTAT, and the viewer of the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Indicators.
