On 15 and 16 May, the entrance exams for intermediate and higher vocational training cycles will be held

These tests are aimed at people who do not have the academic requirements to take these studies.

A total of 959 people have registered, 426 for the entrance exams to the intermediate level and 533 for the higher level.

The entrance exams for intermediate and higher vocational training cycles will be held

On 15 and 16 May 2024, the entrance exams for the intermediate and higher levels will be held. These exams are a means of access to intermediate and higher vocational training cycles for people who do not have the academic requirements to take these studies.

A total of 426 people have registered for the intermediate level examinations. The exams will be held simultaneously in 14 secondary schools in the Balearic Islands. The first day will be devoted to Spanish Language, Catalan Language and Social Sciences, while the second day will be reserved for Mathematics and the optional subject chosen by those who have registered.

The centres where the intermediate vocational training entrance exams will be held are as follows:

  • Majorca: IES Arxiduc Lluís Salvador (Palma), IES Son Pacs (Palma), IES Guillem Sagrera (Palma), IES Marratxí, IES Bendinat (Calvià), IES Llucmajor, IES Inca, IES Alcúdia, IES Mossèn Alcover (Manacor) and IES Llorenç Garcías i Font (Artà).
  • Menorca: IES Josep Maria Quadrado (Ciutadella) and IES Joan Ramis i Ramis (Maó).
  • Pitiusas: IES Santa Maria de Eivissa and IES Marc Ferrer (Formentera).

A total of 533 people have registered for the higher level examinations. The tests will be held in 18 institutes of the Balearic Islands. On the first day, students will take the Catalan Language, Spanish Language and English Language exams, while the second day will be reserved for the two specific exams.

The centres where the entrance exam to higher level training cycles will be held are the following:

  • Humanities and social sciences option: IES Ses Estacions* (Palma), IES Ramon Llull (Palma), IES Calvià, IES Berenguer d’Anoia (Inca), IES Manacor, IES Maria Àngels Cardona (Ciutadella) and IES Sa Blanca Dona (Eivissa).
  • French is not offered.
  • Health and environmental sciences option: IES Josep Maria Llompart (Palma), IES Son Rullan (Palma), IES Albuhaira (Muro), IES Felanitx (Felanitx), IES Cap de Llevant (Maó) and IES Algarb (Sant Josep de sa Talaia).
  • Science and technology option: IES Politècnic (Palma), IES Berenguer d’Anoia (Inca), IES Manacor (Manacor), IES Pasqual Calbó i Caldés (Maó) and IES Isidor Macabich (Eivissa).
