The Sports Department of the Consell Insular de Menorca has delivered two pallets of sports equipment to centres in the Social Welfare area. These are sports items that have been stored for many years in the facilities of the Consell Insular itself and were not being used, and the department has activated the implementation of this initiative.

The Consell Insular donates more than 6,000 pieces of sports equipment

More than 6,400 products have been donated, including 3,000 T-shirts, 1,000 bracelets, 2,000 magnets, 35 trousers, 250 games, 21 mats, 130 bibs, 40 caps, 25 wristbands, 25 scarves, 49 sets of sweatshirts and trousers, 145 gifts and presents, 5 fabric backpacks and 1 microphone.

The beneficiaries of this material have been the old people’s homes in Maó, the Trepucó centres, the Casa de la Infancia, the Calàbria mental health centre, Es Castellet and Santa Rita.
