Inca Town Council has launched a new campaign to combat the presence of dog urine on the façades of buildings, especially in commercial establishments. This initiative is part of the awareness campaign promoted by the council of the capital of Raiguer to promote civic-mindedness and co-responsibility for keeping the municipality clean among all citizens.

‘We continue to take steps to try to keep our city clean and in good condition. For this reason, the involvement of everyone is essential. Because of the incivility of a few people we all have to suffer bad smells, dirt…. Therefore, we must continue working and developing awareness campaigns”, explains the councillor for Services, María del Carmen Oses.
For his part, the Councillor for the Promotion of the City, Miguel Ángel Cortés stresses that ‘dog pee has become a problem, especially for commercial establishments and owners find their façade full of urine day after day and must make an extra effort to keep it clean and in good condition’.
In this case, the campaign is especially aimed at establishments in the city. For this reason, Inca Town Council has, once again, the support of the Association of Traders and Restaurateurs of Inca and Activa’t Inca Business Association, which will distribute the banners among its members so that they can place them in their premises.
In this regard, it should be noted that in recent months, banners have already been placed throughout the municipality, on lampposts informing of the penalties for not picking up cigarette butts, pet faeces, manure, or for stepping on flowerbeds, among others, to continue fighting against incivility.
