The Government has developed a website and a specific mobile application to follow live the results of the elections to the European Parliament on Sunday 9 June, in which Spaniards will elect 61 of the 720 members of the new Chamber of Deputies in Strasbourg in a single constituency.

Both the website results.eleccioneseuropeas2024.es, available from Sunday, and the application for mobile devices ‘9J European Elections 2024’, downloadable from Saturday on the Android and iOS markets, will offer complete information on the constitution of the polling stations, the progress of participation at 14:00 and 18:00 hours and the provisional results, which will be loaded from 23:00 hours, in compliance with European regulations.

The section on the constitution of polling stations offers graphs on the number of polling stations constituted and the percentage that they represent of the total number of polling stations, in addition to statistics on the census and the number of voters.

The space on the website reserved for Participation will show the graphs on the advance of turnout at 14:00 and 18:00 hours and their comparison with the same time slots in the elections held in 2019. The data will also be available by autonomous communities, provinces and municipalities through a drop-down menu.

From 23:00, once the polling stations in Italy have closed, provisional results will be published on the website and the mobile app, which will be available in the Provisional Results section.

The graphs will show the distribution of MEPs between the different candidates, including a comparison with the results of the last European elections in May 2019.

Streaming of the press conferences
On Sunday, 9 June, the day of Election Day, various press conferences will report on the development of the elections, which can also be followed live on the website and mobile devices: 10:30 a.m. (start of the day and constitution of polling stations); 2:30 p.m. (first advance of turnout); and 6:30 p.m. (second advance of turnout).

At 11:00 p.m., the Minister for Government Spokesperson, Pilar Alegría, and the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, will be streamed to present the provisional results.
