Under the common name of ‘Baleàrics’, through the Directorate General of Culture and over six editions, it has been possible for artists, mostly from the Balearic Islands, but also from other Mediterranean places such as Valencia, Andalusia and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, to express themselves artistically under a common theme, whether it be music, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or the sea. Specifically, the six editions held so far have been Baleàrics, Baleàrics Músics, ODS dels Baleàrics, La Mar dels Baleàrics, Els Drets Humans dels Baleàrics, Baleàrics 5 anys and now the seventh edition is presented under the title ‘Els viatges dels Baleàrics’.

All these exhibitions have been created with an itinerant vocation, around all the islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera), through the Lonjas de la culture of the Balearia Foundation in different spaces in Valencia, Andalusia and spaces in the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, among others.

Els viatges dels Baleàrics‘’ features 16 artists from different corners of the Mediterranean, intending to promote cultural exchange. It is an exhibition that brings together a wide variety of works of different plastic techniques and invites us to travel and discover new horizons through art.

Participating artists from the Balearic Islands:
Mallorca: José M. Alaminos, Jorge Azri, Cris Pink, Maria Puerto Fullana, Mateu Bauzá and Antoni Salom.
