This increase will ensure that no public school will be left on the waiting list, thus ensuring the participation of all schools that meet the established requirements.

The registration period for the educational programmes offered in the unified call for applications ended on 5 June. The Language Standardisation and Educational Participation Service of the Directorate General for Early Childhood, Attention to Diversity and Educational Improvement offered four language standardisation programmes.

After analysing the applications received, the Regional Ministry has decided to increase the budget. While 370,900 euros were allocated for the 2023-2024 academic year, 451,020 euros will be allocated for the 2024-2025 academic year, representing an increase of 80,120 euros.

Thus, in “Linguistic dynamisers in Catalan” all the centres that have applied for it and meet the requirements will be admitted, increasing from 85 centres in the academic year that is coming to an end to 106 for the 2024-2025 academic year.

In the programme “Parlem català, exchanges between educational centres in the Catalan-speaking territories”, the budget will also be increased and 36 centres will be authorised, eleven more than in the 2023-2024 academic year.

The number of state-subsidised centres that will offer “Catalan language workshops for young newcomers” has also increased, as has the number of authorised groups.
