On Friday 28th there will be no consultations and urgent care will be provided at the Sant Jordi Basic Health Unit.

On Friday the 28th and throughout the weekend, the professionals of the Son Ferriol Health Centre will be transferred to the provisional facilities of the hospital grounds of the Son Llàtzer University Hospital, next to the hospitalisation area. These facilities consist of 37 modular spaces with 21 consultation rooms, 3 emergency rooms, 3 admission rooms and a lobby. This is a temporary move while work is being carried out on the new Health Centre.

Thus, during this day there will be no scheduled consultations and urgent care will be provided at the Sant Jordi Basic Health Unit from 8 am to 3 pm. From 3 p.m. onwards and during the weekend, as usual, care will be provided at the Primary Care Emergency Service of the Escola Graduada Health Centre.

The temporary facilities are 8 minutes by car and 15-20 minutes by public transport from the current Health Centre. There are three EMT bus lines, 14, 27 and 28, which connect the two areas and there is an additional bus stop 150 metres from the provisional Health Centre. Bus line 14 connects the former Son Ferriol Health Centre with the Son Llàtzer University Hospital. Lines 27 and 28 also connect the Son Ferriol neighbourhood with the Hospital. The Health Service has set up a website, www.ibsalut.es/nou-conferral, with service information aimed at users and the general public about the new Son Ferriol Health Centre and the provisional facilities, such as location, how to get there, etc.

The new Son Ferriol Health Centre is part of the Health Service Infrastructure Plan 2024-2027, which foresees an investment of 435 million euros in health infrastructure over the next four years. The Son Ferriol Health Centre is financed with 6.8 million euros from the MINAP fund, the funds for the improvement of primary care infrastructures.
