The total number of seats on international flights to Spain for July 2024 has reached 12.5 million, according to data released by Turespaña. Compared to the same month in 2023, when 11.4 million were offered, the year-on-year increase is 9.5%.
For the Minister of Industry and Tourism Jordi Hereu, “this increase in the number of seats on international flights compared to last year augurs a very positive summer season for the sector. Spain is among the top places in the preferences of international tourists, which indicates that the quality of our destinations is increasingly appreciated”.

Planned international seats for July reach 12.5 million
Comparing the forecasts for the number of seats in July with the data recorded at the equivalent date in 2023, the good performance of the main issuing markets continues: United Kingdom (+5.4%), Germany (+7.4%), Italy (+14.5%) and France (8.4%).
On the other hand, the strong increases in Poland and the Czech Republic stand out, with a 25% increase. Likewise, the notable rise in the USA continued, with a 17% increase, and the Nordic countries made notable progress with increases in Finland (10.1%), Sweden (7.6%), Denmark (3.3%) and Norway (0.4%).
Within the Ibero-American markets, Mexico and Colombia registered the highest volume of programmed capacities.
