The BOIB has published today the extract of the regulatory bases and the call for applications for grants for the acquisition/electrification of bicycles and electric vehicles for personal mobility, promoted by the Department of Mobility.

The grants are aimed at residents on the island of Eivissa who purchase a vehicle or electrification equipment for personal mobility (conventional, family, electric bicycle, approved VMP or electrification equipment), to promote this type of mobility.

Grants for the acquisition/electrification of bicycles and electric vehicles for personal mobility can be applied for from 10 July to 8 August

Each natural person may only apply for support for one vehicle and for one of the concepts only. In the event that the aid is applied for by the same natural person, but providing documentation referring to different vehicles because they are members of the same family unit, supporting documentation must be provided to accredit this circumstance in order to receive aid linked to more than one vehicle.

The overall amount of the available credit to be distributed among the interested beneficiaries of the subsidy is €50,000.00 and is divided into aid for the purchase of electric bicycles: €400; for the purchase of conventional bicycles (non-electric): €300; for bicycle electrification equipment: €250; and approved electric VMP: €125.

The deadline for submitting applications is 30 calendar days from the day after the date of publication of the extract of the call for applications in the Official Bulletin of the Balearic Islands (BOIB), from Wednesday 10 July until 8 August, at the headquarters of the Consell Insular de Eivissa (Island Council of Eivissa).
