This last call, the investment call, is open until 19 July. The vice-president of the Consell de Mallorca and councillor of Culture and Heritage, Antònia Roca, explained that the beneficiaries are companies, freelancers and associations in the sector that have a craft qualification, i.e. that have a letter accrediting their trade. A total of 312,000 euros has been earmarked for this subsidy for 2024.

On the other hand, the 150,000-euro call for proposals for the promotion of crafts is aimed at improving the competitiveness, modernisation, training, innovation, marketing and dissemination of Mallorca’s craft products and craft cultural heritage. Roca explained, this call has been improved to make it more productive: “The relationship between grants to associations, which did not apply last year, has been adjusted, and the amounts for local councils and the maximum amounts they can receive have been increased”.
