The ‘Nits de Tanit’ Festival returns on the 23rd of August and celebrates its tenth anniversary with three concerts in which, as a novelty, a new discipline will be present: opera.

The Department of Culture, Education and Heritage has prepared an extensive programme of concerts as part of this Festival, which will take place in the facilities of the former Military Command, the current headquarters of the university extension.

Thus, on 23 August at 22:00, the first concert will be held under the name of ‘La Salamandra’, by the group L’Arannà, formed by Anna Sala, who comes from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, and Lara Magrinyà, from Eivissa.

Meanwhile, on the 30th and 31st of August, the opera ‘Tosca’ by Giacomo Puccini (which in 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of his death) will be performed by Notes & Words. This is a performance that proposes a semi-staged version adapted for piano.

Tickets and season tickets can be purchased from 29 July on the website: https://conselldeivissa.escenaonline.com/par-public/rest/evento/listado.

There will also be a free minibus service that will run continuously from 7.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m., leaving from the Multicines Eivissa and stopping in front of the Consell Insular de Eivissa and ending at the old Military Command building.

The organisers also remind us that the gates will open at 8:30 p.m. and that once the show has begun (at 10:00 p.m.) it will no longer be possible to enter.
