This year’s edition will raise funds for the Balearic Multiple Sclerosis Association.

The Inca Town Council is once again organising the Cine a la Fresca cycle to promote cultural dynamism and maintain social activity during the hottest month of the year, sheltering the hottest hours of the day. The city’s bullring will host the screenings on Fridays 9, 16 and 23 August at 21:30. The open-air film series, which is held every year to benefit a charity, will have an entrance fee of 2 euros and the funds raised this year will be donated to the Balearic Multiple Sclerosis Association.

As always, this year’s line-up includes renowned titles for both mature audiences and the whole family. The first screening will be on Friday the 9th with “The World’s Worst Neighbour”, a touching comedy, starring Tom Hanks, about how families sometimes emerge in the most unexpected places, which will be screened in Spanish. It will be followed on the 16th by “Super Mario Bros”, Nintendo’s big blockbuster for the whole family, which will be screened in Catalan. On the 23rd, “As bestas” will be the closing film of the open-air cinema series 2024, the nine Goya award-winning film about the murder that shocked rural Galicia, which will be screened in Spanish.

All of this is expected to make this year’s edition a success on a par with previous years thanks to the presentation of a line-up full of celebrated titles of interest to a wide range of tastes and audiences of all ages.
