This year the theme of the photographs must be related to the environment and landscape of Inca.
Thirteen cash prizes of 100 euros and five copies of the tabletop calendar will be awarded for each of the winning photographs.

Inca launches a new edition of the photography competition for the 2025 Environment Calendar
06/08/2024. For yet another year, the Inca Town Council is launching a photographic competition to promote Inca’s landscapes and the environment. As in the last five years, the winning images will be used to make up an environmental calendar for the year 2025.
“We are relaunching this initiative to continue to promote appreciation for nature and the natural landscapes of Inca, through citizen participation in this activity linked to the environment,” explains the councillor for the environment, Helena Cayetano.
This year, the theme of the competition is “The Environment and landscape of Inca”. Thus, only photographs taken in the municipality of Inca will be accepted, showing, for example, green spaces such as squares and parks or rural areas dedicated to agriculture and livestock, highlighting the social and environmental value of these places in our municipality.
The competition is open to people of any age, but minors must have the express consent of their parents or legal guardians. Participants may submit a maximum of 3 original and unpublished works, in which any photographic technique may be used, in colour or black and white, but only photographs in horizontal format with an aspect ratio of 3:2 will be accepted.
The Environment Department will appoint a jury made up of members of Inca City Council and experts, related or representative of the professional field related to the subject matter of the competition, to evaluate and select the works submitted. Thirteen cash prizes of 100 euros will be awarded to the winners of the competition and five copies of the desktop calendar.
