Most were caused by falling trees and drifting boats, and the rescue of a fisherman who was being sought in Formentera is worth mentioning.

The 112 Emergency System has managed 140 incidents on the islands due to the storm

Most of the incidents were caused by falling trees (44), drifting boats (15), falling urban elements (13), accumulation of water on the road (7), flooding of premises (6), people in danger at sea (6), flooding of public roads (4) and forest fires (3), among others.
Among the incidents must be highlighted the rescue of a 54-year-old fisherman who had disappeared this morning with his boat in the area of Punta Roja, in Formentera, and has finally been located alive by a private boat and transferred by SAMU061 to the hospital of Formentera.

Also in Formentera, 9 people of Italian nationality have been treated in Formentera after a maritime accident involving a sailboat that has hit a rocky area in Cala Saona. Seven of them had minor injuries or bruises and two were seriously injured.

As for the ports of Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ciutadella, Cala Bona, Cala Rajada, Colonia de San Jordi, Porto Cristo, Cala Figuera, Portocolom and Fornells, no relevant incidents have been reported.

In Andratx, there have been no serious problems, only a slight flooding in the port office. However, in Portocolom, a catamaran moored to a buoy capsized.

As for the regulated anchorage areas, there were incidents in Espalmador, where a boat broke loose from a buoy and ended up stranded on the rocks.

In Ses Salines de Ibiza, two boats also broke loose from the buoys and collided with another boat, all of them moored in the regulated anchoring area.

On the other hand, as a precautionary measure, the children from the La Victoria camp have been relocated to the Alcúdia sports centre and all are well.

As for public transport under regional jurisdiction (intercity bus, train and metro of Mallorca), no significant incidents have been recorded. Mainly due to the adverse weather there have been delays on several bus lines of the TIB network, and the bus line L334 Alcúdia – Faro de Formentor has been temporarily out of service for about two hours, having restored the service at about 15:20 pm. Likewise, some bus stops have been out of service, such as the El Corso de Portocolom stop, due to the street being cut off because of a fallen tree, among others.

For its part, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Environment has reported that as a precautionary measure and in response to the declaration of IG-2, coupled with the forecast of heavy rains for this coming morning, has decided to close the Parc de s’Albufera, Son Real and Parc de Llevant to the public.
