The tribute was an initiative of the professionals of the Paediatrics and Intensive Care Medicine Service, with the collaboration of the Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Balearic Islands. The hospital’s manager, Cristina Granados, the dean and vice-dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the UIB, Antoni Bennàsar and Fernando Yáñez, respectively, and many other professionals from the hospital attended the event.

The death of Marta Margarit Camps caused consternation at the Hospital, where she was a resident paediatrics doctor, and also at the UIB, where she graduated in the first class of the Faculty of Medicine in the 2021-22 academic year. She was a much-loved person for her professional and human qualities.
