These are the last days of the exhibition, which ends this Sunday, and Queen Sofía wanted to miss this appointment with Joaquín Sorolla’s latest vision of the Mediterranean. Galmés, accompanied by the Vice-President of the Consell de Mallorca and Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Antònia Roca, stressed that ‘it is a great honour for the island’s institution to receive the visit of the Queen at the Museum of Mallorca, as she is the best ambassador for our island and our culture’.

Queen Sofia also visited some of the museum’s facilities and became interested in its work.
