Geology Centre of Menorca

Last May the Geology Centre opened its tenth season with the temporary exhibition ‘Invasive Species in the Menorca Biosphere Reserve’, a colourful exhibition that invites you to discover the main invasive species identified in Menorca and the problems they cause, as well as the management and alternatives to deal with their proliferation. The exhibition can be visited during the centre’s opening hours.

The Geology Centre of Menorca, located in Ferreries, is a project managed by the Menorca Biosphere Reserve Agency of the Consell Insular with the support and collaboration of the Town Council of Ferreries. As well as offering permanent and temporary exhibitions, the centre regularly organises educational and informative activities with the aim of promoting the conservation of this unique heritage.

The centre is open from June to September from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 8 pm. During the months of May and October it is from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. Admission is free and guided tours for groups can be arranged by writing to centregeologia@gmail.com.
