The aid will go to state-subsidised educational centres and parents’ associations of these centres.

The Government considers that activities such as this one on co-responsibility are one of the best resources for families to reconcile work and family life.

The Consell de Govern has authorised the Councillor for Families and Social Affairs to pay in advance and in full the amount of the subsidy for the morning school service for 2024, which amounts to a total of 300,000 euros. This service is provided by state-subsidised schools (line A) and parents’ associations of state-subsidised schools (line B).

300,000 euros in aid for morning schools in 2024

The grants will be distributed with 150,000 euros for each line, from the Govern’s budget. This distribution is completely indicative and can be balanced between the two lines if there is a lack or surplus of credit in any of the items.

The government considers that conciliation and co-responsibility activities, in their various forms, including the morning school service, are one of the best ways for families to reconcile family and work life.

The subsidy for the morning school is part of the Corresponsables Plan of the Secretary of State for Equality and for the Eradication of Violence against Women of the Ministry of Equality, charged to the general budget of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands for the year 2024.
