The island’s Director of Youth and Participation, Carme Ripoll, visited the young people today and explained that ‘in addition to enjoying the scenery through hiking, participants have the opportunity to share experiences, meet people and create memories’. The route, which includes cultural and leisure activities, has been designed to promote coexistence and personal development.

Of the entire Camí de Cavalls, they will cover the southern half, starting in Ciutadella and arriving in Maó. During the five days they will pass by the cape of Artrutx, Cala en Turqueta, Cala Galdana, Cala Mitjana, Sant Tomàs, Son Bou, Cala en Porter, Binissafúller, Punta Prima and Sant Esteve.

The island institution has subsidised 70% of the cost of the activity, which includes direct sea transport to and from the island, transport for travel on the island, a full board stay at the Sa Vinyeta hostel and travel insurance.
