Anegats bids farewell to the stage in a mass concert organised by the Consell de Mallorca in Palma. The emblematic Mallorcan band brought their ‘Sempre’ tour to a close with a spectacular farewell concert in the Velòdrom Illes Balears, where some 3,000 people thrilled to the music of the iconic Mallorcan band. The event, which was eagerly awaited with great excitement, allowed the band’s fans to enjoy an unforgettable night full of music, energy and memories.

During the concert, the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, highlighted the importance of the group in the island’s musical culture: ‘Anegats has been a reference point for our music, connecting with the people of Mallorca in a way that few others have managed to do. Today, we are not only celebrating their career, but also the legacy they leave behind,’ said Galmés, who also highlighted the Consell’s commitment to promoting and supporting local artists.

The evening began with performances by Anglada Cerezuela and Cabot, who gave energetic shows, warming up the atmosphere before the key moment. The audience was enthusiastic and chanted numerous songs as they awaited the appearance of Anegats.

The most eagerly awaited moment came at 8.40 pm, when Anegats took to the stage to a euphoric ovation. This was to be expected, as tickets for the concert sold out in just four minutes. For almost two hours, the band went through the greatest hits of their career, thrilling the audience with songs from their latest album ‘Sempre’ and with emblematic songs that have marked several generations of fans. The songs ‘Cada nit’, ‘Es message és clar’ and ‘Avui va de bo’, in particular, were some of the most emotional moments, with the whole audience chanting at the top of their lungs.

The audience enjoyed a unique experience in a festive setting where the organisers ensured that everything went off without incident: ‘It is an honour for the Consell de Mallorca to have been at the forefront of this historic farewell to one of our most beloved bands on the island,’ added Llorenç Galmés, underlining the resounding success of the event.

With this concert, Anegats brings 30 years of career to an end, leaving an indelible mark on Mallorca’s musical history.
