The Health Service will audit the two emergency contracts signed with the company Eurofins Megalab, SA for an amount of 1.1 million euros. Both contracts were awarded in 2021 for the performance of PCR tests for residents of the Balearic Islands travelling from the mainland.

The Health Service will audit the contracts signed with the company Eurofins Megalab, SA for an amount of 1.1 million euros

The first emergency contract with the company Eurofins Megalab, SA was signed in January 2021 for 464,064 euros and the second in May of the same year for 660,576 euros.

The audit of these two files – which are in addition to the rest of the emergency contracts signed during the COVID-19 pandemic – follows the publication of a report by the Central Operational Unit (UCO) in different media where reference is made to the contracting of services to the company Eurofins Megalab, SA.
