The exhibition, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the OCB delegation in Inca, opens on Friday 18th October and can be visited until 15th November.

The Inca branch of the OCB is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an exhibition based on the number 50. The exhibition was conceived and created by Josep Lluís Pol Llompart, a mathematics teacher and science populariser; it comprises a total of 15 pieces which, based on very diverse elements of our culture, make an interdisciplinary journey around the number 50. Thus, a ‘dialogue’ is established which aims to go beyond – the prologue is already an example – and which invites visitors to discover and reflect on the exchange of views.

The Cloister of Sant Domingo in Inca hosts the exhibition ‘Dialogues’

The exhibition, promoted by the Inca branch of OCB, has the support of the Inca Town Council and the city’s Teachers’ Centre, where a training activity has been given beforehand to raise awareness of the pedagogical possibilities it offers. Thus, in the celebration aspect, the aim is to provide schools with a playful and mathematical exhibition that they can enjoy, participate in and learn from.

The exhibition can be visited in the Cloister of Sant Domingo de Inca from the 18th of October (opening at 6:30 pm) to the 15th of November. On weekday mornings, from the 21st of October until the 15th of November, schools that so request may visit the exhibition by making a reservation using the form https://forms.gle/rD6w58CCW6aC9pmG6. In the afternoons it will remain open to the public.
