The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 19, and is organized by the Balearic Chess Federation and the City Council of Inca.

Next Saturday, the 19th of October, at 4 p.m., the II Open Ajedrez y Salud will take place in classroom 2 of the Hospital Comarcal de Inca, organised by the Federación Balear de Ajedrez and the Ayuntamiento de Inca.

In the tournament, there will also be space for children, who will compete in the II School Chess and Health Tournament. Registrations are free and can be made through the following link: https://cercledescacsdinca.org/contactar/

The Hospital Comarcal de Inca has three chess boards donated by the City Council of Inca, located in the gardens of the rooms and are available to all users and family members.

It has been proven that in situations of stress or anxiety, chess becomes a very beneficial activity for patients who, due to different circumstances, have to spend time in the Hospital.
