The dual carriageway can be crossed on foot or by bicycle via the Can Blau roundabout and the footbridge next to the Estadio Balear that are close by
Technicians from the Consell de Mallorca are assessing the structure of the pedestrian bridge at the height of the Palma fire station, which collided with a lorry working on the Cintura road yesterday afternoon. While this assessment is being carried out and it is decided whether to repair the bridge or build a new one, the pedestrian crossing is closed with signs at each of the entrances to avoid incidents.

Alternative pedestrian crossings to the affected bridge on the Via de Cintura pending technical evaluations of the structure
Pedestrians needing to cross the fire station beltway in the Llevant industrial estate have two alternative crossings close by. One is the Can Blau roundabout, where there are two pedestrian walkways which is located about 50 metres from the damaged bridge. The other is the footbridge over the Balearic Stadium, located just over 150 metres from the Can Blau roundabout.
The technical evaluations of the structure, as well as the reconstruction of the bridge or the construction of a new one, will take some time. For this reason, users are asked to use the alternative routes mentioned above, as well as the footbridge at the junction between Via de Cintura and Calle de Aragón.
