The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities offers more than 500 Erasmus+ grants to students and teachers of VET and Professional Artistic Education

The Erasmus+ grants offered by the Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats for the academic year 2024-2025 include work placements in companies for students (from 2 weeks to 1 year), observation periods and training stays in companies for teachers (from 2 days to 2 months), teaching periods for teachers, training courses for teachers, incoming mobilities of foreign specialists and trainers, participation in professional competence competitions, preparatory visits and student accompaniment.

All mobilities are fully financed with European funds thanks to the EuroFP Balears 8 project, presented by the Directorate General of Planning and Management in the Erasmus+ call for 2024 and funded by the National Agency Erasmus+ SEPIE with 1,435,649 €, the highest budget that has received a project of these characteristics in the Balearic Islands for a school year, and one of the most important in terms of funding at the national level.
Finally, it should be noted that, with respect to the 2023 call, the number of mobilities has increased by more than 25% and the budget allocated to the EuroFP Balears project has almost doubled. In this way, the Regional Ministry of Education and Universities contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the European Union in terms of internationalisation of Vocational Training and offers opportunities for development and improvement in this field to both students and teachers who participate.
