The Vice President and Minister of Economy, Finance and Innovation of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Antoni Costa, met this Monday with the main trade unions and representatives of the health sector to present the main lines of the general budget of the Balearic Islands for 2025.

The Minister of Economy, Finance and Innovation continues the round of presentations of the general budgets of the Balearic Islands for 2025
Accompanied by the director general of Budgets and Financing, Tomeu Alcover, Costa received the secretary general of the Unión Sindical Obrera (USO), Margalida Munar; the secretary of Organisation and Communication of the USO, Juan Andrés Nogareda; the secretary general of the STEI, Miquel Gelabert, in the main hall of the ministry; the Secretary General of Comisiones Obreras Balears (CCOO), José Luis García; the Secretary of Institutional and Communication of CCOO, Xisco Mellado, and the member of the UCA General Union of Workers (UGT) Balearic Islands and head of the Administrative Area, Sonia Saavedra.
Costa and Alcover then met with representatives of the health sector. The meeting was attended by three members of the Balearic Medical Union (Simebal) – the vice-president, Rafel Ginard; the vice-secretary, Carolina Pérez, and the union delegate, Ramón García; two representatives of the Nursing Union (SATSE) – the general secretary, Jorge Tera, and the secretary of Union Action, Isabel Horrach-, Alejandro Juan Alonso and Juan María Pérez, of the Health Technicians Union (SAE); the delegate of the Central Sindical Union of Health Technicians (Central Sindical Union of Health Technicians), Alejandro Juan María Pérez; and the delegate of the Central Sindical Union of Health Technicians (Central Sindical Union of Health Technicians); Alejandro Juan Alonso and Juan María Pérez, from the Union of Health Technicians (SAE); the delegate of the Central Sindical Independent and Civil Servants Union (CSIF), Rosario Galindo; and the representatives of the STEI Sanidad, the delegate of the Poniente Sector, Alejandro Pons, and the secretary of the Health Sector, Catalina Salom.
In the coming days this round will continue with other representatives of civil and political society in the Balearic Islands, with the aim of gathering impressions, reflections and possible improvements to the draft general budget law.
