The Minister of Economy, Finance and Innovation presents the general budgets of the Balearic Islands for 2025 to the FELIB

The Vice President and Minister of Economy, Finance and Innovation of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Antoni Costa, met this Wednesday, along with the Director General of Budgets and Financing, Bartomeu Alcover, with representatives of the Federation of Local Entities of the Balearic Islands (FELIB), to present the general budgets of the Balearic Islands for 2025. Specifically, the meeting was attended by the president of the FELIB, Jaume Ferriol, the vice president Miquel Porquer and the secretary general, Neus Serra.

During the meeting, Costa insisted on the Government’s willingness to listen to and receive all the projects presented by the local councils in order to be able to implement all the funding and investments provided for in the draft budget bill.

Costa thus continues the round of meetings with representatives of civil and political society in the Balearic Islands, intending to gather impressions, reflections and possible improvements to the draft general budget law. In the previous days, Costa and Alcover have met with the trade unions CCOO, UGT, USO and STEI; the employers’ associations (CAEB, PIMEM and the Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca), representatives of the health sector (Simebal, SATSE, SAE, CSIF and STEI), the island’s economic sector (Círculo de Economía de Mallorca and the Círculo Mallorquín de Negocios) and the Consell de Mallorca.
