Ten artisans from Eivissa take part in the Milan Artisans Fair until 8th December

The ‘Artigiano in Fiera’ fair is holding its 28th edition in Rho, Milan, from the 30th of November to the 8th of December.

These 10 firms are under the Consell de Eivissa’s ‘Artesania d’Eivissa’ brand.

Ten artisans under the Eivissa Council’s ‘Artesania d’Eivissa’ brand are taking part in the ‘Artigiano in Fiera’ artisan fair in Rho, Milan. This fair is celebrating its 28th edition from the 30th of November to the 8th of December and is attended by artisans from all over the world who provide and sell their products to the general public.

The island’s Director of Human Resources and Economic Promotion, Josefa Costa Ramón, accompanied the artisans at this event held in Milan and highlighted the opportunity that this event offers artisans, ‘at this fair artisan, as well as increasing the sale of their products and valuing the island’s culture, can promote their brand and open up to other markets. In this sense, the councillor underlined the interest in the participation of the artisans, ‘in 2022 we travelled with five artisans, in this edition, in this international meeting, 10 artisans of the Artesanía de Ibiza brand participated’.

Artigiano in Fiera’ seeks out, selects and supports companies that interpret a concept of work and economy that puts people at the centre. These are companies that are rooted in their territory, that represent their traditions and transform raw materials while respecting natural processes.

OF ÁNGEL IBIZA:
A family business of artisans committed to producing mainly body cleansing cosmetics in solid format. Using natural ingredients they obtain a high-quality product with almost zero environmental impact.

Ibiza, the sea that surrounds the island and its Mediterranean vegetation inspire them in each of their recipes.

DNA IBIZA:
Behind this project are Dimitri and Andreas, two Greek jewellery designers who have long since achieved international recognition.

They make jewellery in silver and gold-plated silver, combined with semi-precious stones. Inspired by the beauty of nature and its forms, a timeless design for all tastes with the highest quality.

IBIZA DISTILLERIES
Juan Fluxà founded the family business Destilerías Ibiza to promote the richness of the most traditional products of the Ibicencan land and sea, such as herbs and liqueurs, dressed with modernity to enjoy them through the five senses. Fluxà fell in love with Ibicencan tradition and his determination led him to bottle the heart of the Ibicencan forest in a natural and artisan way, thus achieving the family formula of Ibicencan herbs (with D.O.), which has passed, and with flying colours, the approval of the most experienced farmers.

Eva Martínez Riu is an artist who takes inspiration from nature. In her works, there is a balance between form, texture and tonality, as well as a symbiosis with the yin-yang, the light-dark and the bright-matte.

Food company founded by the artisan Belén Alonso, dedicated to creating unique and high-quality products. Ibiza Delicatessen is a brand that has carved a niche for itself in the world of gastronomy thanks to its jams, sauces and other products made with carefully selected ingredients.

Ibiza Delicatessen is in a constant process of innovation and development of new products mixing aromas, flavours and textures that bring the island closer in the most tasty and intoxicating way.

  • GALLIZIA HANDMADE JEWELLERY:

Omar Gallizia combines craftsmanship and costume jewellery to perfection in his creations. Complements made with recycled materials such as cutlery, old watches, stones and different metals.

  • HONEY IBIZA:

Born from the initiative of Melania, entrepreneur and craftswoman of personal hygiene products and natural cosmetics. This project intends to offer high-quality products that are environmentally friendly, one by one they are made, wrapped and labelled by hand, so that each piece is unique and special.

All their products are handmade using local and organic ingredients, all of which are subjected to rigorous control and analysis of all the batches in the laboratory, thus guaranteeing the maximum quality of the products and safe use for the skin.
