The resources will be authorised and made available in advance of the 2025 budget.
Partial funding will be provided for the salary costs of people with disabilities and severe disabilities who work in special employment centres.
The Consell de Govern has authorised the Department of Enterprise, Employment and Energy to invest 10,500,000 euros from the 2025 budget to finance the call for applications for aid to maintain the jobs of people with disabilities in special employment centres by partially financing their wage costs, adapting their jobs and removing architectural barriers.

Enterprise, Employment and Energy earmarks €10.5 million for aid to maintain jobs for people with disabilities
The amount to be allocated to this subsidy is processed in advance in order to avoid delays in the granting of aid that could cause liquidity problems for the special employment centres. This methodology will allow as little time as possible to elapse between the end of one call and the approval of the next and avoids jeopardising the sustainability of the centres in the event of delays in the awarding of subsidies.
There are several programmes under this initiative. Programme 1 partially finances the salary costs of people with disabilities and severe disabilities who provide services in special employment centres of social indispensability. Programme 2 partially covers the wage costs of people with disabilities and severe disabilities who provide services in other special employment centres. Programme 3 provides aid for adapting workplaces and eliminating architectural barriers.
