More than 1,200 dealers from all over Spain have signed up to the Plan Reinicia Auto+, with 465 million euros in direct aid for those who lost their vehicles due to the DANA.

Now that the deadline has passed, it is worth noting that the largest number of dealers are in the province of Valencia, with a total of 181, followed by Barcelona, with 126, and Madrid, with 123 dealers. In fourth place is Alicante, with 61, and in fifth place is Seville, with 41.

The amount of aid under this Plan depends on the type of vehicle and its environmental label. Electric options are encouraged with greater discounts. Thus, aid for new vehicles with a ZERO (electric) label is 10,000 euros and ECO (hybrid) or C (combustion) labels is 5,000 euros.

Pre-owned vehicles up to three years old can also be purchased, with a subsidy of 4,000 euros (ZERO label) and 2,000 euros (ECO or C label). There are also additional incentives for vehicles adapted for people with reduced mobility, which receive an extra €1,000. Aid for motorbikes will vary between 2,000 euros and 500 euros depending on whether they are new or second-hand and their ecological rating.
Individuals can receive one grant per damaged vehicle, with a maximum of two grants if they can prove that they own more than one affected car. Legal entities (companies) can apply for up to five grants.

The grants will count retroactively from 29 October 2024 and it is a prerequisite that the dealer has joined the programme. The participation of dealers simplifies the process for buyers, reducing paperwork and facilitating access to subsidies.
