There is currently only one operating theatre inoperative at the hospital

The Hospital Comarcal de Inca has reopened two of the three operating theatres that were closed on 19 November due to water seepage from the air-conditioning installations located on the roof of the building.

As of today, four of the five operating theatres at the Hospital del Raiguer are now in operation. The centre’s management is confident that the only operating theatre that is inoperative can be reopened before the end of the year.

The Hospital Comarcal de Inca reopens two operating theatres that were closed due to water leaks

The Hospital Comarcal de Inca was forced to reduce its surgical activity three weeks ago when the leaks occurred. During this period, urgent and priority operations have been performed, including oncological ones. Non-urgent operations have also been performed and patients have been referred to Sant Joan de Déu de Inca and the Hospital Universitario Son Llàtzer.

At the same time, work has been carried out to repair the leaks in the roof of the Hospital, so that the problems that forced the closure of three operating theatres do not recur.
