The jury, chaired by Tomeu Canyelles and made up of Carlota Oliva, Laia Alegret, Miquel Àngel Tortell and Natàlia Rabassa, considered that the author shows a high command of literary language and that the work enjoys a great narrative rhythm and a very well-defined aesthetic sensibility.
The second prize ex aequo, worth 500 euros each, went to Mila by Laura Rosselló Garcies, for La rapinyada, by Ana Irene Sainz Quesada, and La pau, by Raül Levas Ferrer.
The prizes were awarded last Sunday at the ACA Foundation in Búger in a ceremony enlivened by dramatised readings and attended by the director of the IBJOVE, Tomàs Amer.
