Ratification of the modification of the regulation of the holiday period for Health Service staff
The Management of the Health Service has considered it necessary to make holiday entitlement more flexible to facilitate the reconciliation of work and personal and family life, provided that the provision of care is duly guaranteed. This amendment to Annex I of the previous Sectoral Committee Agreement was unanimously approved by the social partners.
With this new regulation, it is established that the holiday period should preferably be enjoyed uninterruptedly and with a minimum period of five consecutive working days. However, if the needs of the service so require, holidays may be taken non-consecutively and holiday periods of less than five days may be authorised.
