The Department of Economic Promotion, Municipal Cooperation and Human Resources of the Consell de Eivissa has launched a new campaign to promote Eivissa’s handicrafts to encourage Christmas purchases of products made in Eivissa.

This initiative, was promoted under the brand name ‘Artesanía de Ibiza’ and the slogan ‘For an Authentic Christmas. Give the gift of Artesanía de Ibiza’ (For an Authentic Christmas. Give the gift of Ibiza Crafts), seeks to encourage Ibizans to buy unique, handcrafted pieces made on the island that bear the seal of “authenticity”.

Almost 200 artisans on Eivissa have the artisan qualification document, awarded by the Consell de Eivissa (Council of Eivissa), which is a distinguishing feature that guarantees that the product is handcrafted and made on the island.
