This Christmas, Inca Town Council is organising the first edition of the Night of the Neules, in collaboration with Neules de Inca, Xalest, the Museum of Footwear and Industry and the religious communities of the Pastoral Unit of Inca, TOR Franciscans and the Sisters of Charity of San Vicente de Paúl. This event combines culture, heritage and tradition to highlight the wafers as an icon of the Mallorcan Christmas. ‘With the Night of the Neules we not only want to share a unique and special experience with the whole city, but also to vindicate the historical and symbolic value of this tradition that connects us with our past’, stresses the mayor of Inca Virgilio Moreno.
