PalmaActiva trains 15 students in the Certificate of Professionalism in basic restaurant and bar operations
The 15 students who have completed all the training modules are now doing their internships at the Innside Palma Bosque Meliá Hotel, the Meliá Palma Marina Hotel, the Meliá Palma Bellver Hotel, the Glòria de Sant Jaume Hotel, the Puro Hotel, Joan Marc Restaurant and the three establishments of Ca’n Joan de S’Aigo.
During the visit, the councillor thanked the director of the Innside Palma Bosque Meliá, Ana Rodríguez, for her help in hosting students for internships. ‘This public-private collaboration is essential to be able to develop these certificates,’ she said.
It is worth remembering that since 2016 Meliá has been collaborating with PalmaActiva and has welcomed a total of 33 students for internships in its hotels at the Innside Palma Bosque, Melià Palma Marina, Palma Bellver and Victòria Gran Meliá establishments.
