The Inca Town Council will carry out a new contract for the renovation of the asphalt paving of streets in the municipality. The tendering period is now open so that applicants can submit their proposals until 16 January. At the moment, the budget for the project is €507,117.49 (VAT included).
‘In recent years, we have made a constant and significant effort to maintain our city in the best possible conditions, to preserve the quality and good condition of public spaces. About asphalting, we have implemented a programme of regular contracting that allows us to carry out pavement renovation work on those streets and roads that are in the worst condition,’ says the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.

Inca Town Council launches the tender for the new Annual Plan for asphalting streets
Thanks to this new project, the asphalt pavement of the streets Miquel Bisellach, Fray Juniper Serra, Can Raio, Virgen de la Esperanza and the avenue of Alcúdia and General Luque will be renewed. In all these streets and roads, the asphalt paving is currently in poor condition, having lost its bearing capacity in many places. There are some points with soft areas, which must be rehabilitated so that the new pavement is well established.
In addition, the contract includes work on the municipal drinking water network, replacing fibre cement pipes to prevent them from breaking in the following streets: Miquel Bisellach, Can Raio, Virgen de la Esperanza and Avinguda d’Alcúdia.
Thus, with this new works contract, the Inca Town Council continues to develop a comprehensive plan to replace the asphalt paving in the streets of the municipality of Inca. Over the last few months and in previous years, different actions have already been carried out on various roads in the municipality and some rural roads.
