New Catalan courses on offer from the Institute of Balearic Studies
Enrolment must be done online at llengua.iebalearics.org. Classes begin the week of 3 February and end the week of 22 May 2025. Both face-to-face and virtual courses consist of 75 hours; blended courses consist of 35 hours.
This general offer is complemented by the specific courses for IMAS and Ibsalut workers that are offered in conjunction with the two institutions. In addition, during the school year 2024-2025, the IEB will organise initial Catalan courses for various entities such as the Immigrants’ Associations Centre, the Social Services, the Government Delegation and the UIB, and workshops for families in educational centres.
Llorenç Perelló, director of the IEB, points out that ‘one more year, as in 2024, this call promotes the offer of Catalan courses for all levels to reach the whole population and complements the specific courses’.
