The Consell de Mallorca has announced the opening of registration for the fourth conference of the ‘Mental health in youth’ programme, entitled ‘Substance use and other addictions’, which will take place at the Official College of Doctors of the Balearic Islands on 16 January.

This session will address the impact of substance use and new addictions on young people, with a focus on identifying risks, prevention strategies and practical tools for accompanying adolescents and families in situations of vulnerability.

The Consell de Mallorca opens the inscriptions for the fourth conference of the programme ‘Mental Health in Youth’

The conference will be attended by Gisela López, psycho pedagogue and director of the Orientation, Families and Addictions Service (SOFIA) and the Ciber Programme of Projects Home; Francesc Milà, social worker of the IMAS Addictive Behaviour Unit, and Carla Fiorella Vueno Mancini, psychologist at Energy. These specialists will present their perspectives and solutions to this growing problem.
