These PQI aims to offer the appropriate training so that students develop the skills and abilities to achieve the professional competencies of a professional qualification of level 1 of the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications, as a minimum, and have the possibility of a satisfactory socio-occupational insertion under their possibilities and expectations, as well as opting to continue their studies.

The initial qualification programmes include vocational modules of a basic vocational training qualification and other training modules adapted to the needs of the students who take them.

The IQPs are aimed at pupils, aged between 16 and 21, who are not sufficiently mature to be able to take a basic vocational training cycle with guarantees and who belong to groups with specific needs, who have not obtained the ESO diploma, who do not have any equivalent or higher academic qualification in this diploma, who do not have the basic skills necessary to access the labour market and who want to achieve professional skills typical of at least a level 1 vocational qualification.
